Five Students Recently Completed Nurse Aide Program

The 91ÇÑ×Ó Continuing Education Department recently graduated five Nurse Aide (CNA) students from the program: Ashely Andrez, Cleburne; Rebecca Campbell, Granbury; Brooklyn Kimball, Cleburne; Reese Pate, Alvarado; and Jackeline Powell, Joshua. 

The CNA program is a 112-hour program (72 hours of lecture, 40 hours of clinical) that costs $666. The training provides the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to provide basic care to residents of long-term care facilities. Students are also prepared for the state certification exam for CNA offered by Texas Health and Human Services Department, and will be prepared for entry-level employment in long-term care facilities, doctor’s offices and hospitals. 

91ÇÑ×Ó’s Dean of Continuing Education, Stephen Pape said, “Certified Nurse Aides are needed in hospitals as well as in entities that provide long-term care.” 

This course will also be offered again at the Johnson County Campus in Cleburne Oct. 7-Dec. 10, 2019; Feb. 3-April 13 and June 1-Aug. 3, 2020. Additionally, this course will be offered Hill County Campus in Hillsboro March 23-May 9, 2020. Registration requirements are located at: .
